This is a public art commission in Emeryville, CA. It was commissioned by a redevelopment agency for Bay Street. A new park was being built. The past site had been occupied by Ohlone. In the park setting Ohlone culture is honored with a time line with text and images sandblasted into 12' granite forms. Glass panels are etched with images from this past time. A large map of the area and the locations of shell mounds is carved into a large granite entry form.
