This is a site-specific public art commission for the City of Aurora, Colorado. It honors the Arapahoe, who once occupied the area, with a seating area that is also a sun dial. Large boulders were gleaned from a nearby quarry and used on a circular colored concrete pad, along with markers at the cardinal directions. Information about events from this past were conveyed in text and images, sandblasted into the stones.
